Welcome Back!

We know many people in the area have been aware of this little railroad for years and we are very excited for the opportunity to restore it!

TD&W Railroad operates as an educational non-profit with the ultimate goal of using our two-miles of 7.5” gauge track to promote STEM education for children and teens. Our locomotives and rolling stock are roughly 1/8th scale and are capable of pulling up to 15 people at a time.

For the 2026 Operating Season (April - October) we will be focused on repairing damaged sections of track, retrofitting some of our locomotives, installing four new sidings, and restoring the machine shop. We will only be open for special events during this time.

If all goes well, we hope to fully open to the public at the start of the 2027 Season.
